A great city to live
This city as a way to fascinate people by its colours and the kindness of its inhabitants. Some Australians (mostly from Melbourne) will tell you that this city is for 'Posh' people. Don't worry about it. There a diversity that you will rarely find in other big cities in the world.
In a nutshell, we can say: modernity and magic. Like Melbourne, the city has many news building (skyscrapers) but almost magnificent old ones.
Things that you won't find anywhere else in Australia : its amazing harbour bridge, it's aquarium and the famous Sydney Tower from which you can admire the rapid growth of this city.
Sydney is a city over 4 millions people but don't count too much on seeing aborigines in Sydney, this is not really where they are but you will certainly see lots of people walking barefoot or looking like Paris Hilton. Sydney will be full of surprise!

- Sydney Tower : It is the highest tower in Sydney visible from almost every part of the city It's a great landmark and a great place to visit. Note: it takes around 3 minutes and 30 seconds (via a lift) to reach the top of the tower. There, enjoy a nice coffee and the beautiful view of the city.
- Blue Mountains: Located at more than 100kms west from Sydney, the Blue Mountains is a destination not to miss. Its name comes from the blue colour that comes from the evaporation of the eucalyptus oil of the trees. It gives the landscape this blue colour when it's really hot.

With a temperate climate the majority of the year, you will enjoy most of the time average temperatures. It's a perfect city to visit from September to May.

Sydney is the meeting point for many travelers and businessmen. We can't stress enough the need to book before you go to Sydney. It might be really hard to find an accommodation in the CBD if you don't book before you leave.
