Adelaide, a bit of Europe in Australia
After traveling to Australia for a while you will be able to notice that there is an important difference of mentality between Adelaide and the other cities in Australia. Indeed, Adelaide reflects more a European mentality than an Australian one.
At first sight, buildings can reminds you of Paris in France. The usual friendly attitude of Australians is not as strong as in other parts of the continent. Indeed, there are more the 'distance' when you speak to people (like you can have in Europe)
Not very engaging? That's the opposite! You will discover a real gap with the rest of Australia. It's an experience to live and you will get to understand better how Australia evolved overtime after the first European settlers. Historians are saying that this is probably due to the fact that Adelaide was create by non ex-convicts that wanted to keep a distance with the other cities settled by ex-convicts.
However, this city must be discovered for the beauty of the monuments and especially for its festivals. South Australia is called the Festival State as it holds several different festivals each year.
